*European and National regulations now permit cost sharing flights. This has been the case since September 2017, as laid out in CAA Civil Air Publication 1589.
This means that I can fly private individuals, not previously known to me, from Dornoch Aerodrome, in either the Cessna or Bulldog aeroplane, and that they can share the costs directly incurred in relation to a flight (e.g. fuel, airfield charges, etc., etc.).
Cost sharing flights are private arrangements and not conducted in accordance with commercial air transport or, where approriate, public transport rules.
Flights are entirely at my discretion and can be amended or cancelled for any reason, including at short notice.
Restrictions apply, particularly with regards to flying in the Bulldog aeroplane. These can include, but are not limited to, weight, height and existing medical conditions of the person wishing to fly.
Cost sharing flights in the Bulldog aeroplane are permitted under the General Exemption (ORS4 No. 1234) which permits cost sharing flights for Annex II aircraft in Scottish Flight Information Regions.
